On May 17, 2022 the department chair, Karsten Heeger, hosted the Yale College graduating class of 2022 to dinner along with representative faculty and staff. It was a beautiful evening, so dinner was taken outside to eat under a lovely tree where all enjoyed the smell of lilacs on the evening breeze. There were about ten students and a handful of faculty and staff, including one spouse. It was a nice treat to celebrate the end of four years of work and to wish the students luck going forward with their future plans.
