Sophia Sanchez-Maes (YC’2019 Physics (Intensive) Major & Astrophysics Major) has won the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award from the American Institute of Physics Society of Physics Students. This award grants funds to cover travel and registration costs to attend one AIP member society professional meeting of their choosing within 12 months of receiving this award. Additionally, they will receive an honorarium for themselves, and an honorarium for their SPS chapter.
